Museum

The Munchausen Museum helps relive the stories of the incredible adventures of Colonel Hieronymus Karl Friedrich von Munchausen. Munchausen spent some of the most beautiful years of his life with his spouse Jakobini in Latvia, in Vidzeme, in the Duntes manor, where for centuries people have not stopped telling the fantastic events from the baron's life.

On the other hand, on the second floor, wax figures of persons known in the history of Latvia have found their home. Everyone has the opportunity to take a close-up photo with maestro Raimonds Paula or basketball star Uljana Semyonov, as well as chat with Karli Ullman and Daina Tēva himself. And the opportunity to see the largest collection of beer mugs in the Baltics.

The museum also offers a diverse and tasteful selection of souvenirs.
